The advent of the European mark PGI helped producers to protect themselves from many bad imitations and from those who exploited its reputation, but mainly consumers who can now at last buy “the real Fagiolo di Sorana” in cellophane or glass packages of various content amounts, sealed and certified, reproducing the logo adopted and recognized by the Association for its protection, the European mark PGI and all the indications for its correct traceability.

The logo in “pantone” colours on a yellow background recalls the crest of the medieval hamlet, with the wind-rose and the blue and silver colours of the ancient vexillum, the writing Sovereign, in memory of the Rock of “Castella Medicea” on the ridge of mount Petritulo in Lignana, is always placed side by side with the European logo of the PGI.
